Portable passive GPON protocol analyser
Connects to a distribution fibre point and captures upstream and downstream data at bit level, interpreting PLOAM and OMCI control information. It deduces the network topology, checks it against ITU-T G.984.x rules, and extracts and decrypts Ethernet traffic in real time for QoS and QoE evaluation.
Best for: GPON installation, certification, interoperability analysis and troubleshooting.
Portable, battery-powered XGS-PON protocol analyser
Captures XGS-PON traffic in both directions, including OMCI messages, and processes OAM, PLOAM and OMCI management information. It shows ONT and OLT state, XGEM ports and T-CONTs, estimates the network topology, and extracts multimedia traffic in real time.
Best for: XGS-PON deployment, maintenance, conformance and interoperability validation.
Dual GPON and XGS-PON protocol analyser
Combines the functions of the 9k7 and 4k7 in one self-contained unit, with a GPON mode and an XGS-PON mode. It captures both directions, interprets PLOAM and OMCI, extracts user traffic at the Ethernet layer, measures optical power, and detects and reports line faults.
